Scholarship applications are now closed


The IMGS and the University of Strasbourg offer funding to pay for registration fee as below:

The IMGS Scholarships for trainees (Students or post docs):

Scholarships for trainees (Students or post docs) will be available.  Application Deadline June 23, 2019

Exact amounts of the scholarships are not yet determined, but they should cover at least the cost of half a twin room for 5 nights plus the registration fee.

To be eligible:

1) You must be a 2019 IMGS member (memberships are complimentary, just go to and the Join tab and register).

2) You must have an abstract selected for presentation (either oral or poster).

3) A maximum of one scholarship will be given per lab.

4) You should send a copy of your abstract, an email with your full contact information, whether you are a student or post doc and the name of your lab head to

no later than June 23, 2019.

5) You should register for the conference, and you can select IMGS Scholarship on the payment page.  (If you do not receive a scholarship, you can pay your registration fee later).

6) You should plan to participate in the Trainee Symposium, the main meeting and the Mentor lunch.

The University of Strasbourg offers free registration under the framework of the IdEx Unistra (Limited number) Deadline July 1st , 2019.

1) You must be a University of Strasbourg Student

2) You must send a copy of your student ID when registering to

3) You must submit an abstract

The places are limited. Priority will be given to students whose abstract has been selected.

Sponsored University of Strasbourg students agree to help the organizing committee during the Congress.
